The Saguaro — Cactus Cat Scratching Post

The Saguaro is a cactus-shaped scratching post that gives your cat somewhere to stretch and claw that isn't the furniture. It looks good enough to leave out in the open, so it can sit in the living room where your cat actually spends its time.

The scratching surface is natural sisal rope, which is safe for cats to scratch and play with and stands up to daily claws. The rest of the cactus is finished in green chenille over an MDF core. It's a sturdy, freestanding design that doesn't need fixing to a wall.

At 67 cm tall it's high enough for most cats to stretch up and scratch at full length. The 40 cm x 40 cm footprint fits beside a sofa, near a window or in a corner. Placing it close to the spot your cat already likes to scratch is the easiest way to win them over.
